Washoe County Amateur Radio Emergency Service, Inc. needs your support! Washoe ARES plays a vital role in our community, providing emergency communications via Amateur Radio, when regular communication systems are overloaded or fail.
The Amateur Radio operators who are Washoe ARES, volunteer thousands of hours per year training, practicing, and developing the skills required to respond to a call for assistance when all else fails. Our volunteer operators pledge their time and their personal equipment toward the safety of our community.
But the job is big, and our volunteer operators can't do it all. We need your help...
