Hey Everyone!
In this video, I’m doing some maintenance on my 30’ Rohn 25 tower. The Diamond X‑300NA at the top started showing high SWR this spring, and after a closer look, I found the Mosley TA‑33 below it had been freewheeling and damaged the coax feeding the vertical. I’ll take you up the tower, replace the Type‑N connector, and then make a few contacts on 146.520 FM.
Special thanks to Dale (N0KQX) and Gary (W1GUU) for randomly being available for quick QSO tests after hooking the Diamond X‑510 to the Flex 8600.
