All Members of ARES and any one interested in Amateur Radio and or ARES are welcome to attend the meeting & training.

Arlan -KA7ZAU will give general information of upcoming activities., general discussion of topics.

In person training outside sending and receiving messages /winlink / Net practice/ Mobile setup. We are going to be setting up outside of the REOC to practice different modes of communication. Also, this will be an opportunity for you to demonstrate test your go box or your Complete setup. We will also have both Ecomm 1 & 2 on site.

You will have an opportunity to use some of the equipment in either Ecomm. If you have just a laptop please bring your laptop at least we will do telnet messages. Also, if you don't have a setup, you will be more than welcome to work with others and in the ECOMM's. I'm hoping for a fun warm. Saturday. :--)

We will have a ARES board meeting after the ARES meeting. Guests are welcome to attend both meetings.

You will need to push the regional EOC button. Then wait patiently for someone to let you in.

WC-ARES Meetings and Training are located at the REOC 5195 Spectrum Blvd in Reno. On the first Saturday of the month. Starting time is at 10:00 AM.

Please park in the two main parking lots on the right side as you come up the hill.

Then you will walk to the main building on the left. Use the side door and push the button to gain access.

Some months we hold our board of directors meeting after the training meeting. All members or visitors are welcome to attend.
