Updated September Meeting Notice

Due to scheduling impacts from Labor Day weekend, the Ham Swap, and the SNARS Pancake Breakfast, our September training will be provided in a non‑meeting format. We are issuing a micro‑training module this month to ensure all WC‑ARES Members, Support Volunteers, and Guests stay engaged and maintain operational readiness.

This short module offers a concise readiness refresher and includes a digital check‑in assignment. Please take a moment to review and complete it at your convenience. Complete Micro‑Training Module

We are planning to have one of our ECOMM vehicles or a small equipment booth at the Ham Swap, so stop by, say hello, and feel free to use some of the equipment as a practice test.

WC-ARES Meetings and Training are located at the REOC 5195 Spectrum Blvd in Reno. On the first Saturday of the month. Starting time is at 10:00 AM.

Please park in the two main parking lots on the right side as you come up the hill.

Then you will walk to the main building on the left. Use the side door and push the button to gain access.

Some months we hold our board of directors meeting after the training meeting. All members or visitors are welcome to attend.

Please use the side door to enter the building.

You will need to push the regional EOC button. Then wait patiently for someone to let you in.
